Face Time with Wally and Room 5
Our Giraffe Wally has been on an adventure for the last ten weeks and we miss him. He's at Green Bay Primary School at the moment so we thought it would be a good idea to call them and see how he is. We'd also been working on some persuasive letters and we wanted to read some of them to Room 5 to see if we could convince them to let us have Wally back. We had a lot of fun chatting with the children in Room 5 and we know Wally is happy there. Our letters must have worked though because he's going to be coming back in a week. We can't wait!

It was so good to see you guys and your school. You obviously love Wally very much. I really enjoyed listening to the stories you wrote to him. Wally really misses you. He can't wait to come back.
Hi Room 10!
I miss you so much. I just wanted to let you know it was so nice to hear your letters last week. I didn't know how much you loved me. You made me feel very special. I have been having lots of fun at Green Bay. Last Friday, R5 made ice cream sundaes just for me! And I went to the Auckland museum yesterday. I learnt so much.
Check out R5's video, I fell asleep on the bus ride home! Can't wait to see you soon.

wally i really want you to come back because i miss you and wally when are you coming back because it is nearly the holidays and i wont be able to see you.
I remember taking Wally to the South Island on a road trip. He went all the way to Dunedin for a special birthday. I miss seeing him and it was good to have some time together.
