Rapping with ight
Each week we look at a word family. We think of as many words as we can with that word family then we write a silly sentence with the words we have thought of. This week we were looking at ight (ite) and while we were thinking of words Siale asked if he could write a rap instead of a silly sentence. He worked hard over two days, to write and practice the rap. Following his example Agnes, Calais, Sifa and Christine also wrote raps using words with the ight/ite sound. They then used garage band, with the help of Leilani, to record their raps. Here is the finished product.

Hi Leilani, it is great that you are looking at and commenting on the blog, even on a saturday. It was a good idea to ask your big sister for help. We are going to be looking at gas this week for our inquiry and we'll be doing an experiment which should be fun. Enjoy your weekend.
